Eleven additional cars were built for the North
American market with Vantage chassis and aerodynamics but because of the strict
emissions regulations, they had the standard US-spec low compression engine and are correctly known as 'Cosmetic Vantages'.
This particular Cumberland Grey Canadian flip-tail example, photographed on the Oregon coast has, like many other of the American flip-tails has been sent back to the UK and modified to full European Vantage specification. The 16 inch cross spoke wheels are a recent addition. |
