| At the 1983 Motorfair, Tickford, a one time subsidiary of AML, introduced the
Tickford Lagonda. It was characterised by the addition of fashionable side
skirts (it was the '80's of course!), a deep front air dam, rear below bumper
valance all with full colour
coding. TV's, expensive hi-fi and cocktail cabinets were also part of the
package. The price was £85,000 (when the standard car was only £66,000) and this
may have contributed to the fact that only 5 were sold
