Aston Martin DBR5 (1960)

The DBR5 was a new single seater GP car, both smaller and lighter than the previous DBR4, to be ready for the 1960 season. Two cars were constructed  but were disappointing in competition in both the 1960 Dutch and British GP's. Since the future appeared to be with rear-engined cars, the decision was made to quit the world of Formula 1 and both cars were scrapped in 1961.
