Aston Martin DBR3 (1958)

DBR3/1 was essentially a DBR1 chassis/body and fitted with a shorter stroke version of the DB4 twin plug engine with a capacity of 2990cc and front wishbone suspension similar to that on the single seater DBR4. In its only ever race with Stirling Moss at the wheel in a BRDC race at Silverstone during 1958, it sadly retired.

The car was subsequently rebuilt as DBR1/4 and can seen on the DBR1 page
