Aston Martin Second Series Team Cars
(1½ litre, LM8 - LM10) (1932)

This car is LM10, one of three 1932 Works Cars. At Le Mans in that year this car came in a creditable 5th, and 1st in class. After this event the car was sold, but strangely repurchased by the works to compete in the 1933 Le Mans 24 hours where it came 7th overall, 2nd in class. The car has been in almost continuous usage on the track ever since. Here it is photographed during the 1999 Coys Festival, Silverstone.
