The Volante version of the Virage has was
announced simultaneously with the coupe in March 2010
with deliveries to customers from May 2011. The Volante
closely follows the improvements also previewed on the
the coupe. But in addition, in order to stiffen the
already strong VH platform, the Virage Volante has a
solidly-mounted rear subframe as well as front and rear
shear panels. The convertible hood also features a layer of
Thinsulate material, adding refinement for the Volante
customer.
