| Notes |
| The above production figures courtesy of Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd.
I have also information from the AMOC register in these notes to both
enhance and correct the errors in the above table. |
| 1. The AMOC register gives a total of 407.
This probably includes five cars with 'x' chassis numbers which did not
have chassis numbers within the normal run of numbers. 98 DB2's were
built as drophead coupes and 5 were supplied chassis only and were
fitted with bodies by other coachbuilders. |
|
2. This includes 102 DB2/4 drophead coupes
and 8 supplied chassis only and
were fitted with bodies by other coachbuilders. |
| 3. Ten DB3S were built as team cars,
making a total of 30 cars. Cans completed from parts by others have not
been included, |
|
4. Includes 16 drophead coupes, 34
fixedhead coupes and 4 supplied
as chassis only and were fitted with bodies by other coachbuilders. |
| 5. Includes 84 drophead coupes and 5
fixedhead coupes. The AMOC register clearly shows that 551 DB Mark III's
were built - which doesn't explain the factory figure at all. |
| 6. Taking into account the 'errors' in the
factory figures, the total production of Feltham cars according to the
AMOC register is 1778 including the 10 examples of the DB3 (5 works
cars, 5 production cars sold), the 10 works DB3S's and prototypes. |
