| Notes |
| The above production figures courtesy of
Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. I have also information from the AMOC register
and AML Press Releases in these notes to both enhance and correct
the possible errors in the above table. |
| 1. The 1000th DB7 was a silver Volante for
a US customer and this was finished on the 4th October 1996
|
| 2.
The production of the
2,000th DB7 - a Pentland Green Volante -- was completed on July 1, 1998
|
| 3. The production of the 3000th DB7
(all models) -
a Vantage Volante with automatic transmission and Touchtronic
electronic control was completed in February 2000. |
| 4. The 4000th DB7 (all models), a
Galloway Green
Vantage coupe, was finished on the 16th February 2001.
This moved total DB7 production ahead of the combined total achievement of
the DB4, DB5 and DB6 models. |
| 5. The 5000th DB7(all models) was
completed during December 2001. |
| 6. According to AML, the production of the
DB7 Vantage by 13th December 2002 is as follows, Coupe - 1902, Volante -
1780. I have no reason to doubt these figures Thus by the end of
2002, a grand total of 6133 DB7's have been built. DB7's account for
almost a third of all Aston Martin production |
