The second round of the FIA GT
Championship was held at Silverstone for the converted RAC Tourist Trophy. Five
DBR9's were entered into the GT1 class, two by Austrian team, Jet Alliance, two
by the Italian (semi works) team BMS Scuderia and a single car from Barwell
Motorsports, already well known with their trio of DBRS9's.

The best result for an Aston was 4th
for the Jet Alliance car number 33, just 44 seconds behind the leader after a 2
hour race. The others - 7th for BMS Scderia number 23, 10th for number 17, the
Barwell car, 11th for number 36, the other Jet Alliance car, and 12th for number
22, the second BMS car |
